Marvel - Spider-man and Black Panther

Hello and welcome to our next post in our Marvel series, make sure you use the search bar above and type in Marvel to find all of our Marvel fun. This week we are going to explore some fun with our friendly neighbourhood Spiderman and Black Panther. We are always going to kick off with a little clip of the superhero’s in action so here is a brilliant clip from Captain America Civil War featuring both Spiderman and Back Panther.

Spider Sense

Kids need to feel inside a box whilst blindfolded and use their spidey sense to guess what is inside.

You’ll need

A box

variety of times to stick inside

For younger kids keep it simple like a Spiderman action figure or a cuddly toy but if you want to make it harder try things like a tomato cut in half, cooked pasta or even if you have a friendly hamster pet you could try that.

Super Hero Book Marks

Great for any super reading fan, just click on the image below for the free download, print them out and cut them out. I would print them onto card or mount the paper onto card to make them a little stronger. Maybe try using photographic paper for them so that the super hero is strong and shiny.

Spider Man Sticky Game

Spiderman Sticky Hands Game

Place a bunch of plastic spiders on the ground and give each player a sticky hand. Players must sling their sticky hand “webs” to pick up a certain number (10) of plastic spiders in the allotted time (or fastest).

Web Escape

Spider Man Web Escape

To play this game, roll up a small ball of black yarn, in the size of a golf ball, and give it one for each child. Let the children, stand in a circle, holding their ball. With a help of a parent, tie the yarn around each child's waist, and give that child the rest of the ball to hold. Now, every child takes turns around the circle, and tosses the ball of yarn to someone across him. That child, then wraps around him and tosses it to another child and so on and so on.

Black Panther Smoothie

Black Panther Smoothie

Want super human Black Panther strength? Tell your kids to drink up their Heart-Shaped Herb Black Panther smoothie! Chock full of fresh fruit and sweet goodness, your kids will love this healthy take on this magical Black Panther drink.

What You Will Need:

  • 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries

  • 1 cup of fresh blackberries

  • 1 ripe mango

  • 1 banana

  1. Blend fresh blueberries. Pour into heart shaped ice cube tray/mold. Freeze for 2-4 hours or until firm.

  2. Blend blackberries, mango, banana together until liquefied. Add and blend ice cubes as needed.

  3. Top with 1 frozen blueberry heart-shaped herb. Serve immediately. Makes about 3-4 smoothies.

Ring Blades

Ring Blade Ring Toss

I love this idea, get some glow sticks that come with connectors (you can find these from most pound shops).  Use two glow sticks connected together to form a ring and then all you need is a steak in the ground o some sort of mounted pole to toss them over.

Black Panther Popcorn.jpg

Black Panther Popcorn

To finish off this weeks Marvel fun you have to try this Black Panther Popcorn. Try searching our site for popcorn to see other popcorn recipes we have tried over the years. I do this by using microwave popcorn bags and make then according to the packet instructions. Then all you need are some Candy Melts, I have linked to them below to save you some time. For the black panther popcorn I used black and purple candy melts.

First melt the black candy melts according to the packet instructions and the gently coat the popcorn in batches, this helps get a more even coating and it helps not to clump the popcorn together too much. Once all the popcorn is coated you can either put it all together in a large bowl or into individual containers. Melt the purple candy melt according to instructions and use a piping bag to drizzle that over the top. A super snack to go with a brilliant super hero film.
