Well we’ve made it to our final week of Star Wars fun, this week I am going to cover some great additional touches for birthday parties but really everything we have covered so far can be used to make an awesome Star Wars Party, I have linked to all of them at the bottom of this post.
Of course we have to include the new Teaser for the next and last (for a while) Star Wars film The Rise of Skywalker.
Lets kick off with your Star Wars name, this is a great thing to keep the kids busy as they arrive, find out there name then let them design a name badge with their name on it. This can just be some printer labels from a stationary shop. That can then be the kids name for the whole party. Have it on a phone/tablet or click on it to print it out.
Star Wars Piñata
This is a super simple thing to make, start with a pre made and cheap football piñata, I have linked to one below for speed.
Here is everything else that you will need -
Grey or silver spray paint
Black tissue paper
Mod Podge & Paint Brush
Disposable Plastic Bowl
Black duct tape or electrical tape
Start by cutting a hole large enough to fit the bottom of the bowl (this will become the laser weapon portion). Stick that into the piñata, using glue if desired/necessary. Then, use your gray/silver spray painting to cover the entire piñata. While that dries, cut different square and & rectangle shapes out of black tissue paper to make some of the Death Star shapes.
Once dry, make two hemispheres with the black tape. Then, use the mod podge to start sticking on all your shapes. Since tissue paper is thin, a very thin coat of the mod podge is all you’ll need. Remember, you don’t need perfect here -the kids will love it. So, just slap the shapes around each hemisphere in some patterns that resemble the Death Star.
Lastly, use a black Sharpie to draw the lines in the area for the super laser! This part really helps make it look like the Death Star! Make sure you check out our full Piñata Guide to make the most of this part of the party.
Of course you will need some party invites but which side do you choose, the Jedi or the Sith? Don’t worry we have designed invites for both sides, mix and match or choose your side it’s your choice. View all of our invite designs in the Party invite Library Here.
How about at the end of the party, every child gets officially accepted Ito the grand order of the Jedi! Just click on it to download it for free.
Finally we have some printable to add those extra little touches to your party, these are also great just for a movie marathon too.
